What would feeling confident during your next photoshoot mean to you?

still wondering who to book for a nashville ELOPEMENT?

You should never feel like you have to create some artificial, posed version of yourself.

I wasn't always confident.

In fact, some days, I'm still not. I struggled with an eating disorder for years. I was socially awkward, kinda weird, and knew way too many Harry Potter facts for my own good. Ok, so all of that still applies, but now, I know that it doesn't matter. I am who I am, and I'm not going to be anyone else just because someone doesn't like me.

I know the battles that exist inside our brains in an attempt to belong & feel beautiful. I know the hurt of not being accepted as you are. I know the pain of the words others use to bring us down. Those times when you looked in the mirror and wanted to wave that magic wand and fix everything you thought was wrong with you? I've been there too.

Want to know a secret?

---> There's nothing wrong with you. There never was and there never will be.

My approach is rooted in making you feel your best.

Helping others on their recovery journey and making sure my clients feel great regardless of how they perceive themselves, is essential to my shoots. I want my clients to feel comfortable with me beyond just working well together. When planning a session, I dive deep; I want to know why you want these photos, what you want to get out of it (confidence boost, a day of pampering, or just some pretty pictures), and what you're scared of. If I know these things, I know exactly how to make you feel your best so that you get the most out of our time together.

When you feel confident in yourself, your photos come out better. Plain and simple. I want to help people who feel nervous, awkward, or unsure at the start of a photoshoot leave feeling incredible, radiant, and like their truest selves. My main focus during this process is you.

Whether your truest self is silly, calm, or joyful…

You are welcome here. I want you to feel celebrated exactly as you are; all kinds are welcome, all love is celebrated equally. And prioritizing the things that make you who you are is essential to my craft. Wanna try a silly pose or make a goofy face with the one you love? I am here for it. Want to run through the city finding as many spots for photos as we can? Let's go! This is about you and only you, and making sure that you know that you're worthy of feeling beautiful, because you are beautiful.

A few of my values

                     CONFIDENCE
This is not a switch you turn on and off, but rather a continuous process in hyping yourself up so you can feel your best. You have talents, skills, and gifts that make you amazing. Let’s emphasize them. Let's celebrate them.

                         GROWTH
I love to photograph clients throughout the different stages of their lives. If you want a photographer who will get those pictures of you during your engagement session all the way to you holding your newborn, I’m your girl. Let’s document you in all phases of your life.

                          TRUTH
The photos I take should be true-to-you and the phase of life you’re in. Highlighting these honest, real-life moments is what will make the photo gallery I deliver to you so special.

Hey there, I’m Kat! I’m an east coast gal who packed up her bags (and cowgirl boots) and moved to Nashville, because nothing makes me feel more myself than blasting music and running around the city with my camera.

I attended New England School of Photography where I learned all about my craft. I consider myself to still be a student and I’m always learning and exploring new things.

Meet Kat

Why I do what I do....

Why I do what I do....

I’m the self-proclaimed “mom friend”,  so if you're too nervous to ask the waiter for more ketchup, I'll gladly be the one who does it for you. I got you!

I don’t like the color pink or anything overly frilly. My style bounces between pretty sun dresses, jeans and an old band tee, or cowgirl boots and a button down. Gotta mix it up now and then!

My favorite genre of music is punk rock; my favorite band in the world is The Maine. Music is a huge reason I moved to Nashville and I can't wait to hit Broadway!

I'll go first.

I can’t wait to get to know each other...
