Come with me to experience a beautiful vow renewal in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire.

As a New Hampshire elopement photographer, I love capturing all expressions of love. Zach and Felicia’s New Hampshire vow renewal was emotion-filled and intimate, just the three of us documenting their commitment to each other as the sun set over the lupines in Sugar Hill, New Hampshire.

Four years ago, Felicia and Zach said “I do” in front of their friends and family, vowing to love each other forever and grow together, both as people and as a couple. Then, on a sunny Saturday in June, they both donned their wedding attire and reminisced over their relationship, welcoming their two boys, watching each other blossom, and again made promises for the future. The lupines in Sugar Hill made for the perfect backdrop for this New Hampshire vow renewal.
I’m a New Hampshire elopement photographer who not only takes beautiful photos of your experience, but also helps plan every detail.
The Frost Place – An Afternoon Adventure
But before we got there, we met at The Frost Place in Sugar Hill, a beautiful museum set in what was once Robert Frost’s house in the mountains. From the hand painted name on the mailbox to the bedroom at the top of the stairs, we walked through history together, pausing to enjoy the view here and there.

Behind the house is a trail through the woods, scattered with flowers, towering trees, and poems. Sunlight came streaming through the branches, illuminating our path and highlighting the signs with Frost’s most famous poems, guiding us from the start of the trail to the end. Zach and Felicia wandered amongst the forest, taking it all in; balancing on trees, dancing in the brush, and sharing this experience together was their only goal.

Love Among the Lupines
After The Frost Place, Zach surprised Felicia with a stay at the beautiful Sugar Hill Inn. At the top of the stairs sat their suite, a beautiful backdrop to for getting ready. From the window light where they wrote their vows to the full length mirror in the bedroom, it was the perfect surprise.

The first thing Felicia noticed inside the Inn was the library, so naturally that was our first stop once dressed. They flipped through books, played games, and even found a vintage Polaroid camera! We sat outside on the deck for a few minutes, enjoying the evening sun and cool weather before setting off for the wildflower field.

Next, a short drive down the road brought us to St. Matthew’s Cathedral – one of the most popular spots to see the lupines in Sugar Hill. Felicia and Zach read their vows to each other while standing in a field of the most gorgeous flowers I have ever seen. Seeing the love these two share and hearing the promises they made to each other ensured there wasn’t a dry eye between us.

It was an honor to witness these two vow to continue to love and cherish each other and their children, to support each other, and to do everything to make the other happy for the rest of their lives.
